Takashi Tanaka is an executive consultant specializing in integrated human resource development solutions through the process of coaching, performance competency modeling and individual assessment.

His professional consultancy includes 12 years at Personnel Decisions International (PDI). He consults in the areas of leadership development and succession management for high-potential global candidates. He served as the general manager of PDI Japan from 2000 to 2004. Tanaka-san has coached executives and business leaders who need to boost their performance and business results in managing global responsibilities and in transitioning to new roles. He has worked with multinational Japanese and global companies including Allergan, Hitachi, Pfizer, Pharmacia, Seiyu/Wal-Mart, Sony, Wyeth Lederle. He is a Ph.D candidate in Organizational Behavior, Keio University, School of Business Administration.
