Mary Kralj

Mary Kralj specializes in helping organizations to achieve their strategic goals through custom crafted organizational design, selection and alignment of the executive team, and effective leadership development. Her consulting experience has spanned a broad array of organizations representing the high technology, financial, chemical, food, and health industries. Her clients include the Center for Creative Leadership, International Paper, Fannie Mae, National Cooperative Bank, Corning, Quest Diagnostics, the Mortgage Bankers Association, The IMF, GE Capital, Transitions Optical, and Xerox.

When working with organizations, her engagements are tightly linked to the business strategy and emphasize innovative interventions. Typical engagements include organizational design, merger/acquisition, culture change and team development efforts that result in measurable improvement in the alignment among mission critical components of the organization. When working with individuals, her typical engagements include advisor to the chief executive and the senior leadership team, chief executive and Board performance assessment, and coaching for both 'high potential' and 'at-risk' leaders.

Dr. Kralj completed a Ph.D. in Psychology and a certificate in business at the University of Virginia. She has served on the faculty of the University of Maryland and is a licensed psychologist. Dr. Kralj has directed projects on topics such as career decision-making models, retention of high talent employees, and of group collaboration models. Prior to forming her own practice network, Dr. Kralj worked at the senior level for a number of consulting organizations including RHR International; Personnel Decisions International; The HayGroup; and Delta Consulting Group in New York City (now Oliver Wyman). Dr. Kralj speaks nationally on topics related to the leadership challenges of the new economy.
