Paula Fontana

Paula is one of the two Brazilian ICF certified coaches (International Coach Federation) specializing in executive coaching. Her company (DHO – Human Development in the Organizations) is the Brazilian branch of the Strategic Executive Coaching Alliance (SECA), headquartered in Atlanta - USA. SECA is an alliance of leaders in the field of executive coaching whose main ability is to partner with those we serve to create amazing beneficial outcomes. Her life and professional purpose is to naturally and proudly help others create possibilities for greater results, happiness and harmony.

Paula utilizes her skills, knowledge and energy to create successful projects for her clients to enhance relationships and facilitate transformation and cultural changes. She coaches high performers to clarify their goals, strengthen their teams, improve their performance, become better leaders, and add new competencies to their repertoire. When executives feel stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, Paula establishes a partnership with her clients to help them to build strategic relationships and high impact teams. All of this results in gaining more energy, better work/life balance and, ultimately, a richer and more meaningful existence.

Paula encourages her clients to think about life purpose, core values, dreams… and translate it into behaviours that add value in their organizations. Over the past 3 years, Paula has coached executives in multinational companies such as: Federal Mogul, Schneider Electric, Daimler Chrysler, and CSU. Her coaching approach includes 360 feedback (using VECA – administrative behavior assessment tool) and any other assessment tools required from the client, since she is highly experienced in dealing with competencies in the corporate context.

Education
Majored in Psychology from the FMU – Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas – São Paulo (1987); Extensions in Business and Changing Management – FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas – São Paulo (2004 / 2005); 125 training hours in Coaching by the Strategic Executive Coaching Alliance (in presence), in Atlanta (USA).

International experience
Lived in Boston (USA) for 6 months in 2005 + work travels to Argentina and China.

Travel preferences
Family in the USA (Boston) and frequent travels abroad for tourism (France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, London, Holland).
