Lynn King

Lynn King is a global leadership coach, trainer, and consultant since 1989, working with executives from the US, China, Singapore, India, Germany and the United Kingdom. She is passionate about accelerating leadership development by following each client’s unique process to find their “spark of genius.” Her work includes bridging gaps - between the potential and the reality, between understanding and action, between cultural polarity and plurality, and between fear-based decision-making and highest vision. Clients work deeply on core issues and are supported to go to their next level as they “connect the dots” and push their limits.

Lynn’s executive coaching is also informed by training expertise in areas such as: change management, intercultural competency, influence skills, global virtual teams, conflict management, diversity awareness, project management, and more. In 2007, she founded SageVision: ReInventing Cities, a leadership consultancy, and Moving Eco Forum, the community educational arm, focusing on increasing China’s urban, organizational, and community capacity for innovation and resilience.

Prior to relocating to China in 2003, Lynn worked In Silicon Valley as Director of Human Resources and Organization Development for RAE Systems, Inc. and as Manager of Organizational Learning and Development for Rapid5 Networks, Inc. Past and current corporate clients include adidas, Bosch, Carrefour, General Electric, Gemplus, Microsoft, Phillips, Proctor & Gamble, RAE Systems, Roche, Shanghai World Financial Center Forum, Tesco, and United Automotive Electronic Systems, and others.

Lynn holds a Master’s Degree in Organization Development from The Fielding Institute, CA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Art, Art History, and East Asian Studies from Princeton University, NJ.

Lynn demonstrates commitment to socially responsible leadership development in volunteer efforts as well. Currently she is the Global Asia Fellow and the Shanghai Professional Chapter President for Net Impact, a global network of students and professionals making a sustainable difference in the world, as well as a Vision Mentor for World Pulse: Voices of Our Future program.
