Kathy Trickey is the founder and owner of KT Global Associates. She provides comprehensive coaching, training and consulting services designed for individuals and teams to achieve success in this lifetime – at home, at work, in the community, and in the world at large. Kathy brings over 30 years of experience working with individuals, teams and organizations to achieve greater collaboration and better results. She is committed to helping her clients build improved relationships and achieve better and more meaningful outcomes in the workplace and in their lives through discovery and dialogue. Key in her approach is her ability and willingness to ask excellent discovery questions, support the client in learning by trying out different perspectives, listen fully for the words and the meaning behind the words, appreciate the cultural differences, support the perspectives of all, and celebrate successes.

Kathy is a trainer on coaching skills, intercultural communications, and innovation management, as well as a wide range of leadership topics. Through a coaching approach and the use of a number of assessment instruments (e.g., the Cultural Orientations Indicator, 360° competency assessment and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), she motivates people to achieve greater interpersonal awareness and effectiveness.

Kathy worked for several Federal Government agencies prior to establishing her own company. Fluent in Spanish and English, Kathy has worked with individuals and teams in the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala, and Chile and served in the USDA-APHIS Foreign Service. She worked as an Administrative Officer, a Budget and Accounting Officer, as well as in a full range of professional and organizational development positions, including the design and delivery of world-class leadership development programs. She has a Master’s Degree in Education, a Bachelor’s Degree with high honors in Spanish, and a postgraduate certificate from Johns Hopkins University in Change Management. A graduate of Corporate Coach University International, she is a Certified Business Coach. Kathy is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
