Chris Brannen
Chris began her career in the 1980s delivering programs and services to California Silicon Valley high-tech, and bio-tech firms such as Adobe, Applies Biosystems, Applied Materials, Apple, Hewlett Packard, Quantum and IBN. She now has over 18 years of experience working closely with major organizations world-wide such as Bloomberg, Credit Suisse, Crossing Automation, Deutsche Bank, EFI, Hitachi, Panasonic, Phillips, Samsung, SanDisk, and UBS.
Chris Brannen is an international business consultant specializing in cross-cultural consulting, and training programs as well as leadership and management programs which incorporate cross-cultural skills. She has conducted over 2,500 cross-cultural and management/leadership seminars throughout the Americas, Australia, continental Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and the United Kingdom, and is currently serving as an executive coach to numerous multinational organizations. Founder of The Brannen Group, Ms. Brannen has 10 years of experience living and working in the Pacific Rim, based in Japan, and 15 years of experience working internationally, based in the US.
Educated in Japanese, Canadian and American schools, Ms. Brannen attended Sophia University in Tokyo, received her BA from the University of Texas at Austin, and her MA from the University of California at Berkeley. Her intercultural background, in brief, includes: Japan during the formative childhood years, Japan and US for undergraduate and graduate degrees, and family in Riga, Latvia and throughout Europe. She worked as a Lecturer at the University of California at Berkeley for 7 years. A list of Ms. Brannen’s publications as well as her recent speaking engagements is available upon request.
She speaks English and Japanese and conducts coaching and seminars in both languages. Chris travels extensively and resides in Berkeley, California, US.
